JA Finance Park is a mandated economics finance education program that introduces students to personal financial planning and career exploration. This program’s culminating activity is a visit to JA Finance Park, where 8th grade students will put into action what she or he has learned and will practice how to plan a successful budget. The JA Finance Park program is designed to help students:
- Think creatively, analyze task and solve problems
- Demonstrate personal responsibility for learning and self-management
- Develop and follow a monthly budget
