Did you know students can continue to learn over the summer by working on the Internet based Compass Odyssey program from home?

- Be certain not to type a “www” or a “.com” anywhere in the address. If you receive a message that the “page cannot be found”, check the address to see if your browser did an auto-add for these items to your address. If so, edit as necessary.
Setting up your workstation:
- Before logging in, select System Requirements from the login screen
- Turn up the volume or use heaphones (This program has audio!)
- Verify that your computer meets the minimum requirements listed
- Select Check System from the next screen and it will determine if the plug-ins needed are downloaded
- If a red x appears after the system check, follow the link to download that particular plug in
Students will need to log in using the student I.D. number. This number is the username and also the password.
- Leave the “School” field at the default, ODYSSEY. Do not change this option.
- The Odyssey student portfolio utilizes pop-up windows, so you may want to disable your pop-up blocker or familiarize yourself with your browser’s method of allowing pop-ups from this site (either temporarily or always allow).
Students can use this program to work on skills in the following areas:

* Math * Social Studies
