The School Advisory Forum (SAF) facilitates discussions between parents, students, teachers, administrators, and community members on issues that impact the educational process at Falcon Cove Middle School. Every school in Broward County, by school board policy, has a SAF – AND – everyone in the school community is eligible to be a member!
Monthly meetings will be held at Falcon Cove throughout the school year (times will alternate between morning and evening). Please check the homepage of the school website for details on the next upcoming meeting. All agendas and minutes from prior meetings are posted below on this page.
If you have ideas, concerns or issues, please join us at the meetings. We allow plenty of time for discussion on these items, but we would appreciate it greatly if you could contact us before each meeting to add the item to the agenda.
If necessary, the School Advisory Forum Chairperson, along with the school’s principal, will bring the concerns of our community to the monthly Area Advisory Council. The Area Advisory Council relays information to the District Advisory Council and ultimately to the Superintendent of Schools and the members of our School Board.
Additionally, we plan to organize speakers for some of the meetings. Ideas/contacts for speakers are welcome. (For example, last year we hosted an evening discussing “Internet Safety”.)
