Falcon Cove Middle School strives to encourage students to maintain and improve their academic abilities year round. In order to achieve this goal, students are required to read a minimum of one novel over the summer, although it is highly suggested students read at least two novels. All students are encouraged to select high interest books which are both on grade level and age appropriate. Upon returning to school in August, students will be required to complete an assignment based on the summer’s reading.

Beginning July 1, 2010, you can complete a 2010-2011 Multi-Child Application for Meal Benefits online via the Internet using www.applyforlunch.com . The online application is available in English, Spanish, Portuguese and Creole. The entire process should take 15-30 minutes depending on the size of your household, and the information you are required to enter. Be sure to list all the students in the household attending Broward County Schools on the same online application.
