Student Volunteer Application

To all our high school applicants,

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Falcon Cove.  Each year approximately 150 high school students are selected to become a part of the volunteer base at “The Cove”.  Many criteria are considered when selecting student volunteers.  Prior school records, personal skills and teacher recommendations play a big part in the selection process.  It is also important that you be able to volunteer at least 20 hours during the year.  You will not receive Falcon Cove volunteer credit for less than 20 hours of service.

Application Process:

Complete the on-line application available and submit by Friday, May 14th.  Please note:  No applications will be accepted after that date.
•    Download “Service Learning Record” and keep to submit to Falcon Cove at the end of your volunteer experience
•    Read and abide by the “High School Volunteer Precepts”
•    If selected, you will be notified via email by Friday, June 11th
•    TBA -  Student Volunteer Orientation in September 2010 in the Falcon Cove Auditorium

Each year, we receive over 600 requests from high school students who would like to volunteer.  We applaud each of you for your commitment to serve. If you are not selected for the 2010-2011 school year, please try again next year.
