Science Bowl

To all  6th , 7th and 8th graders interested in competing in the Science Bowl competition, there will be an organizational meeting, Oct. 2 at 8:30 -9:00 am in room 234.

Dance Company Auditions

The Dance Company will perform in school concerts and off-campus competitions/performances in the community.  Company members must be willing to attend two weekly rehearsals from 8:30-9:30 AM.
Auditioning dancers will do a short ballet warm-up and learn a contemporary dance phrase at the audition.  Be dressed in dance attire and ready to move! For more information, see Ms. Alter in the dance studio.


Choose Peace Week

Sep 15 -19, 2014 is CHOOSE PEACE Week. Teachers will have access to videos and special lesson plans. In addition, students are encouraged to participate in the CHOOSE PEACE 2015 poster design contest.

Cheerleading Try-Outs

Cheerleading try-outs for the school cheerleading team for all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders will be held starting Sept. 22-Oct. 4th. PRACTICE AND TRYOUTS WILL BE HELD EVERYDAY IN THE AFTERNOON FROM 4:15-5:45.
Forms are available on-line or in the main office.

Constitution Day

On September 17, 1787, the Founding Fathers signed the most influential document in American history: the United States Constitution. This document established the framework of our government and the rights and freedoms that “We the People” enjoy today.

This is the Preamble to the Constitution:

Preamble: We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
