WalkAbout Autism 2016

For the second year, Falcon Cove Middle School will be joining schools across the tri-county area as well as companies, families and friends to support the Dan Marino Foundation in the Walkabout Autism & Expo! Our team “Fighting Fierce Falcons” wants you to be a part of our crew on Saturday, January 23rd from 9:a.m. – 1:p.m.

A few things that you should know:
• 25% of all donations will support our Falcon Cove ESE program directly!!!
• There will be family fun activities and food for all ages!
• All proceeds raised through this effort support local South Florida organizations.

Sun Life Stadium in Miami, Florida is the host for the The Dan Marino Foundation WalkAbout Autism & Expo. This is a great opportunity for Falcon Cove staff, students and families to work together and make a difference for children, teens, and adults living with autism.

How do you participate you ask? Just click on the link below and you can begin!

See you on the 23rd!!!!

Human Relations

There is an important Human Relations meeting on Thursday the 19th at 9:00am in portable 36.  We need all members to attend.

Flight of the Falcons

Flight_of_the_FalconsFlight of the Falcons is November 13th 2015!

The Falcon Cove PTA has only one major fundraiser a year called FLIGHT OF THE FALCONS. This is a carnival that will take place on Friday, November 13th on school grounds during school hours. There will be obstacle courses, carnival games, food and drinks, prizes, music, water balloon fights with Dr. Kaplan and the rest of the administration and so much more! Your student will not want to miss out!

Fundraising is one of the many roles PTA’s fulfill. We do this to help our public school in areas that the county’s budget does not cover. The Falcon Cove PTA chooses to do one major fundraiser instead of many minor ones throughout the year. Last year we raised over $63,000! All of money collected during this event goes right back into the school for much needed technology, equipment and supplies that cannot be provided by the school due to the latest budget cuts.
