Please complete the SAC interest survey at the bottom of this flyer and return it to your child’s 1st period teacher by Friday, May 26, 2012. Our professional teachers are continuously working on profession development to develop their teaching skills and to increase their levels of content expertise. May 23rd 10 AM school cafeteria List of nominees for the 2012-2013 school year Registration is now open for Summer Theatre Camp. Research has shown that participation in the arts increases self-esteem & academic progress, decreases bullying, and fosters team-building skills. This school-sponsored program is for all young actors, ages 7 to 14. Registration includes weekly field trips, a t-shirt, contests, and acting/singing/dance instruction by Florida certified Drama teachers. Two sessions are available: Wednesday, May 16, 6:30pm – 8:30pm Student Panel – Experiences in the ESOL Program Promotion & Retention/Summer Options and Election of Parent Officers
Elections of the Falcon Cove Middle School School Advisory (SAF) Officers will be held on May 16th, 2012, at 8:30 am at the joint SAF/SAC Meeting. In accordance with year-end procedures, and to ensure that all checks received by the District have adequate time to be processed by the bank prior to the end of the 2011 – 2012 school year, checks will no longer be accepted as payment for meal services after Friday, May 11, 2012. Effective May 14, 2012, Food and Nutrition Services cannot accept checks as payment for student meals for the remainder of this school year. This does not affect on-line payment access. |
